What are your qualifications?
Getting here took almost 10 years. Full of trial, error, Google searching and occasionally red-faced embarrassment.
My formal education and working experience have been in various kinds of IT and systems. It was my job to navigate something I had never seen before in a timely manner. Learn more on the About page.
While I'm still on my road to photo mastery, I think I may have a useful nugget or two!
Who are these lessons for?
These lessons are designed for beginners to intermediate enthusiasts who want to improve their photography skills and learn essential digital editing techniques. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
Where are you based?
In person lessons around Asheville NC but remote editing lessons can happen anywhere!
What do I need?
For photography: A DSLR, mirrorless, or even a smartphone camera will work, depending on the course level.
For editing: A computer or tablet capable of running software like Adobe Lightroom, Capture One or free alternative.
What if I can’t make it?
You can reschedule anytime, which may happen anyway if the weather is bad enough and we're outdoors.
